GameJAM in Rostock: FischbrötJAM💻

You may join our FischbrötJAM Discord and you can have a look at the JamPage on itch.io here.

Create your own video game in 24 hours!

Have you been dreaming of creating your own video game since you first held a Game Boy in your hand? Maybe even while you were holding a fish sandwich in your other hand? Then join the FischbrötJAM now!

Beginner-friendly: Godot tutorial included!

Don’t worry if you don’t have any GameDev experience yet: There will be a 2-hour live tutorial with the Godot game engine at the start of the jam. Godot relies primarily on its own scripting language GDScript, which looks very similar to Python and is easy to understand. And best of all: Godot is completely free and open-source! At the end of the tutorial, we provide you with a basic project template that you can customise and extend if you wish.

Participate either on-site or on-line and build a team!

The FischbrötJAM is a hybrid competition, which means you can either participate on-site or online. Team up to capitalise on each other’s strengths. Remember that video game development is more than just programming: you also need artists, composers and storytellers! Have we piqued your interest? Then join us on 19 January at 13:37 either on site in Konrad-Zuse-Haus room 210 or online. The GameJAM will also continue into Saturday.
